Man Drinks Water From Frog, Don't Watch The Video, Ewww!
Nature has its very fascinating way of surprising us humans.
If you have seen the movie Life Of Pi, I am pretty sure you've done some Googling on meerkats since you can't just get enough of their cuteness.
In that movie, Pi gets stranded in an island to his satisfaction. It gave him fresh water, plenty of food, and shelter.
But at night it turns into a monster, yep, the entire island devours any mammal, consuming it with its acidic water.
The meerkats were undoubtedly gave Pi some pretty relieving companion.
Meerkats, in contrast, do not leave in the Pacific as suggested in the movie, they do in arid and hot places. They survive with less water and resources.
Much like those fishes and toads that survive years in drought.
And because these animals are pretty good in keeping moisture, they serve as water reservoir for aborigines in such places as desolate as African and Australian deserts.
